Optimization of the process parameters is important prior to the purchase of large-scale commercial thermal processing system to ensure capacity requirements are achieved.

In most applications, testing and development work at the Harper Technology Center has produced major reductions in processing times, resulting in large savings on the investment required for new thermal processing systems. Our process development team has designed several custom thermal systems for highly technical process requirements

Harper has a wide variety of furnaces and kilns that can handle your process conditions, including:
• Batch or continuous furnaces
• Sizes from small kilns to large furnaces, with
  3 temperature zones
• Furnace conditions from atmospheric to nitrogen or specialty
  gases, with temperatures up to 2400°C.

Harper provides a variety of analytical services to help you monitor and better optimize your process. These include on-site facilities such as gas analysis (critical to ensuring compliance with environmental regulations) as well as off-site facilities such as electron microscopy, thermal and elemental analysis.

A quotation will be prepared upon request to outline testing protocol and associated costs. The data collected may be used for the design of highly engineered, commercial scale Thermal Processing Systems.
