Ferrites
To serve a broadening array of applications, Harper offers a full range of
thermal processing equipment for the calcination and sintering of
hard and soft ferrite materials. We can also engineer complete systems.
Harper's versatile, indirect-heated rotary tube furnaces, using electric heating elements
or fossil fuel combustion, are widely employed for calcining of soft ferrites. Design
features developed over years of experience in the ferrite industry optimize retort and
element life while minimizing investment requirements.
Other Harper equipment for sintering of soft ferrite materials includes
split-atmosphere
tunnel kilns and multi-stack periodic elevator kilns offering precise, automatic control of temperature and oxygen content in the heating chamber.
We also offer custom designed double-channel tunnel kilns and
roller hearth kilns for sintering hard ferrite materials.
Harper ferrite kilns and systems are widely used for applications such as calcining and
sintering materials for power, entertainment, electromagnetic interference suppression, and many newly emerging product areas. Our industry specialists assess each application
and propose the optimum system.
Harper now serves the international ferrite market through offices in Europe and Asia, and a worldwide network of
representatives and technical service organizations.
